About the show
"Hutsul Christmas" — Authentic Caroling from Kryvorivnia Comes to Ternopil
On December 29, the Ukrainian House "Peremoha" will host authentic Hutsul caroling—preserved in Kryvorivnia and passed down from generation to generation.
"Hutsul Christmas" is not a stylized performance or a staged production by a professional theater troupe. Instead, the stage will feature genuine carolers and Hutsul musicians from Kryvorivnia—people for whom caroling is a living family and community tradition.
The audience will hear ancient carols, traditional Hutsul melodies, and the music of the Carpathians performed live. With authentic voices, traditional instruments, and age-old rituals, the atmosphere of a Christmas celebration in Kryvorivnia will transport you to a world where Ukrainian traditions remain vibrant and are handed down from one generation to the next.
This is more than just a concert; it is an opportunity to experience authentic Hutsul caroling firsthand and discover Christmas as it has long been celebrated in the Carpathian Mountains.
